Sagha Khaneh was stations to maintain holy water and fire in ancient Iran which its history belong to 1400 B.C.
There were build up by natural spring location and the people route.
The people’s with different descent, culture and religion, would drink some water, light the candle, and make their best wishes. Then they would tie a piece of fabric or hang a lock, so that the wishes come true, to find happiness and end their sorrow.

Upon such belief, SAGHA KHANEs are stations in which the artists would offer their master pieces such as tile works, mirror works, metal works, painting, calligraphy… , in each era.

In this PROJECT ,we intend to present this unique belief in the style of “performance art” under the title of First Public Art in Iran .
